I don’t know much about JJ Brine outside of his maddeningly addictive work with The LaBiancas Charles Manson concept band but he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite visual artists.  This is The Abraxas Shrine and my favorite piece that I have seen so far; it recalls a collaboration between Kenneth Anger and Andy Warhol to my untrained eyes which is a most appealing aesthetic.  But it also looks like something, I daresay brand new and hitherto unexplored and I really appreciate the rarity of it all.  I will definitely visit Vector Gallery when I visit New York.
